Here are three examples of what’s going on in our real estate market.
Today we’ll give you a quick overview of the state in our market with three leading indicators of what’s going on right now:
1. Sales price. In 2019, pre-COVID, the average sale price was $205,000. In 2021, it has increased to $285,000. That’s a 40% increase in two years. Now is an excellent time to sell.
2. Inventory. In October 2020, there were 79 homes on the market. In 2021, we only had 49. Inventory continues to be very low.
3. Multiple offers. Last Friday, we listed a house, held open houses, and took offers until Monday night. We received 13 offers, and many were over asking price.
